Food Parcels

Please note you will not be able to receive a food parcel without a referral slip. Food parcels can ONLY be collected at the following times: Mondays to Fridays 12 noon to 2:00 pm and

Fridays only between 3:30 and 5:30pm

except by special arrangement. Telephone: 07749 377473 (12 noon - 2pm) The Food Bank and other banks are operating as usual The Caring Hands Diner is now open between 12 noon and 2pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. A referral is NOT needed for this service. All are welcome.

Closures due to school holidays and Bank Holidays

We are closed for referrals for food parcels etc. on Bank Holiday days. We are not currently open at weekends, unless by prior arrangement. The food bank will be closed on Monday 25th May 2026 as it is a bank holiday. The drop-in diner will be closed on Monday 25th May, Wednesday 27th May and Friday 29th May 2026 as it is half-term holidays. The drop-in diner will finish on Friday 17th July 2026 for the summer break and will re-open on Monday 7th September 2026.

The food bank will remain open with the exception of

Monday 31st August 2026, which is a bank holiday.

The drop-in diner will be closed on Monday 26th October 2026, Wednesday 28th October 2026 and Friday 30th October 2026 as it is school half term holidays. The food bank will remain open. The drop-in diner Christmas Lunch will be on Wednesday 16th December 2026 and will also be last session before the Christmas break. The drop-in diner will re-open on Monday 4th January 2027. The last food bank session of 2026 will be on Wednesday 23rd December 2026. The food bank will then be closed for the Christmas break and will re-open on Monday 4th January 2027. We are planning to offer a Christmas Day Lunch again at The Lighthouse at 1pm on Christmas Day (25th December 2026). Further details will be distributed nearer the time.
